1. Rental Terms and Conditions

When you rent a vehicle from Spotto Car Rentals, please be aware that our standard terms and conditions apply. These terms and conditions are in place at all times. Our rates are inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax) and insurance, and vehicle availability is subject to change. Please note that despite the inclusion of insurance, an excess will be charged in case of any vehicle damage. Insurance coverage is applicable within New South Wales (NSW) unless prior clearance is obtained before the rental. If you prefer to use your own insurance, we offer rate reductions; kindly inquire for more details. Additionally, all our rates include breakdown recovery services.

2. Driver Requirements

Drivers of our rental vehicles are required to have a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old. Please keep in mind that the acceptance of certain license endorsements is at the sole discretion of the rental location manager.

3. Your Rental

• You can return your rental vehicle only to our branches during their opening hours.
• If you plan on returning the vehicle at an airport outside of regular business hours, please obtain prior consent.
• You are responsible for the vehicle until the keys are returned to a Spotto Car Rentals staff member.
• Returning a vehicle to an airport without prior consent will result in liability for all retrieval charges.

4. Special Requirements for Young Drivers

For drivers under 25 years of age, there are specific conditions:

• Drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.
• All drivers under the age of 25 will incur a surcharge.

5. Australian Driving License and Identification

If you are an Australian driver, please ensure you have your valid driver’s license (original copies only) and one proof of address, such as utility bills or bank or credit card statements issued within the last three months. Additionally, all Australian drivers should have their relevant identification.

6. International Drivers

International drivers must have a valid domestic driving license with an English translation. In the absence of an English translation, an international driving permit is required in addition to a domestic driving license. All drivers must present a credit or debit card in their name when collecting their rental vehicle.

7. Terms of Hire for Vehicles

Car and Van Hire

• 200 Km per day and $0.3 per KM per day

8. Cancellation Policy

We offer a full refund for all cancellations or booking changes with 24 hours’ notice of cancellation. If you do not provide at least 24 hours’ notice, we will be unable to offer any refund for money already paid.

9. Driving Outside of New South Wales

Customers can only take a rental car within New South Wales. Travel to other Australian states is not permitted without prior arrangement and may incur additional charges.

10. Vehicle Availability

To ensure vehicle availability, we recommend booking in advance. Vehicle models shown and descriptions are for general guidance only, and while we make every effort to comply with requirements, we cannot guarantee a specific model. Spotto Car Rentals reserves the right to refuse rental and to amend terms and conditions without notice.
